History

The depth of Niagara Falls history is a surprise to many visitors. The photogenic Falls and many beautiful pruned Niagara Falls parks, belie the fact that the area was the scene of one of the most famous battles of the War of 1812 � a major turning point in Canadian history. Or that it was a significant stop on the Underground Railroad during the 19th Century.
